A big part of my professional life is my involvement in the legal profession itself. That involvement not only gives back to the profession but ensures that I remain connected to my fellow lawyers, helps me keep abreast of new developments in the law and the practice of law, helps me contribute to the way in which law and legislation develops and helps me be a part of how our profession is developing. In the 23 years that I have been practicing law, involvement in the profession has been a priority. I have just received notice that my role in two of the Canadian Bar Association Committees will be renewed. I will continue in my roles on the Judicial Advisory committee and the Automobile Insurance Committee. I am excited as well to be continuing in my role as Secretary of the Women’s Lawyers Forum and delegate for the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia (TLABC) to the American Association of Justice.
